A little while ago I was contacted by Seamus to collaborate on a pen idea he had, today it's come to life. The first is feathers and a Canadian Breast Cancer Awareness quarter and the second is feathers with a Canadian Veterans quarter. Sorry about the picture quality but I'm out of practice with the camera.

fantastic work. I really like the pink feather bridging the gap between cap and body, it ties the two parts together very well

Marla,

Are those white feathers or a white painted tube? Whichever, you do outstanding work and you must either have alot of birds or are buying feathers from all over the world and it simply amazes me the colors you put together...

:good:Marla, your feather blanks are second to none and teaming up with Seamus who's coin carving's are also the best you've both deserve standing ovation:bananen_smilies039:

Thank-you everyone for the compliments and a HUGE thank-you goes to Seamus for the idea.

The white is feathers, I'll admit my photography skills are a little on the rusty side. I have tons of birds, they are purchased through fly tying shops, they all seem to have the same product as there are very few feather/bird distributors in Canada.

This is about 2/3 of the feathers I have and the drawers in both cabinets are full, the rest are in boxes in my dinning room and bedroom ...
