I like everything from Dobie Gray, Etta James, Journey, Metallica to the Zac Brown Band. Got a Southern Gospel list about 50 songs long and a Contemporary list to match.

a thread of everyone's top 10, as in only 10 songs you could ever listen to again. That would be an interesting read. Make people really think about em.
I don't think I could do 10 but I could probably come up with a list of 150 or so.

I like music in some situations, but don't really pay attention to most artists or titles... and I can't carry a tune in a bucket. About the only music I don't like is rap and heavy metal, but all that said, I don't like music in my work place... didn't like it when I was in the office and don't like it in my shop... in the shop I can't hear it because there's always some machine running, even if it's just a fan... plus it ruins my concentration.

Back when I was with TWA, I worked a midnight shift in the office in a huge tin building and was usually alone, so I played music loud there to drown out the creaks and tics of the building, until one night a group of 4 or 5 guys walked into the office and I didn't hear them until I looked up and they were all behind the counter... thought I might have been about to be robbed... I turned the music down after that.

I usually listen to early rock, Jimmy Buffet, and country. I do have to confess that I sometimes listen to the black eyed peas (please don't tell anyone). Got hooked when my daughter left a CD in the car and I thought that I should check out what she was listening too, first song up was "My Humps." I hope that this does not get me banished from the IAP.

All that junk inside your trunk?"

It could be anything from the Cramps to Snarky Puppy to The Jayhawks and Son Volt to Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk.

On the weekends I like to listen to Sirius XM shows from The Loft like David Johansson's Mansion of Fun or Bernie Taupin's American Roots Radio. With that going for inspiration and a big ice tea, I can work in the shop all day and never want to stop.
