This one has given me fits. It's a wonder I even got a pen out it.
The material is an imitation woodgrain ebonite resin. It's a lot more of a creamy white than the pics show. The cap & finial are black acrylic.

Very pretty. Where'd you get that material?

It was a gift from a forum member, but I am pretty sure it's the same thing as "Redwood WoodGrain Italian Resin" at Exotic Blanks or "Imitation Wood Grain Ebonite" at Indy-Pen-Dance. It looks better as a blank than turned. In person it's not very appealing -- to me, at least.
 
Great work! The pen looks super, especially the section. You might not think the material looks good, but it looks good in the pictures. I know, it's your design!

Hey, you know getting a good section is a big deal for me, so that alone makes it all worthwhile. :tongue:
 
Great job Renee!!! I'm opting for purchased sections at first...so much to learn...so little time!! For whats it's worth...you really inispire a lot of us newbies!
