I have to choose my two keepers for my fantasy football team. One choice was easy. However, second choice is more difficult. Do I choose Monte Ball, running back for Denver Broncos or Doug Martin, running back for Tampa Bay Bucaneers?

If it were me I would keep Martin. I think Tampa would be more likely to focus on the ground game and be more conservative (less passing) in the red zone. If that's the case Martin should have more touchdowns than Ball. Yardage between the two backs is anyones guess. I would say that Martin will get more attempts but Ball's Yards per carry will probably be higer simply because with Manning in the backfield Ball will be running against more passing defensive formations.

It should be noted, though, that the last time I was in a Fantasy League I finished second to last, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

Because of Manning, Ball should get plenty of chances as the check down receiver. I think he'll get 20+ touches a game. He's near the top of my RB list.

Knowson Morino had 10 TD's last year. He left for Miami. I imagine that the broncos expect Montee to replace him which should give him similar numbers. If I remember right, Morino was the goal line back so he should produce even more. Martin has had injury problems. Unsure of what he is capable of. If they are of equal ability (and I don't think they are), I always go with the team that has more scoring potential. With Payton Manning that would be the Broncos.
