Just got off the phone with Ed from Exotic Blanks. Very nice conversation where he answered all my questions with patience and kindness. And I haven't even ordered from him (yet). He even recommended another supplier for the my needs. Reminds me of Miracle on 34th Street...

Ed is great. In all my interactions with him I got the sense that he spoke the truth, even when it wasn't pleasant. Sure he has forgotton more than I will ever know about pen making.
