I was hoping to find an IAP member that may be able to help me with engraving or laser etching? Which application will work best I don't know But I need to make a faceplate similar to the one below. I have the knobs and it will be mounted to a base that houses a desk pen.

If you can help please let me know! Thanks

Sorry about that. I'm not sure what went wrong there!

Constant Laubscher (I may be totally mangling his name) in Georgia (greater Atlanta) can laser-engrave just about anything. He's also a stand-up guy. Web site is lazerlinez.com

Although my geography is weak, I'm pretty sure that Atlanta area is close to you.

Trying to "go to eleven", are you?

Is the baseplate wood or metal (and if metal, what kind)? Most woods can easily be laser engraved. Most metals cannot be engraved with a typical CO2 laser, but they can be marked (painting with a special solution and then bonded with the laser). I can do either process for you and I'm in the Hillsborough/Durham area. Drop me a line if you want to come by and see how it works.

Regards,
Eric
