Prayers for Ernie!

Well it looks like Ernie Wayne had a good night. I truly believe that all your caring and prayers are working and pulling him out of this. All of this info is probably going to scattered but I was trying to write fast what each doctor was telling me.
When I got here this morning I saw that instead of restraining his hands they had what looked like boxing gloves on him to prevent him from pulling out the ventilator or any of the many tubes. I started talking to him and he opened his eyes and I really think he knew it was me. He keeps raising both hands (which is good) trying to pull the tube out and I am telling him to calm down rest and sleep cause we can not take it out. They came in and put a bag of pain medicine to help. They have seizure medicine bag also. They are just now hooking up a pump with nutrients.
Brain doctor says they are going to try doing the Angiogram on his brain in the morning if he is doing good.
Bone doctor says they will be taking him to surgery tomorrow to fix his hip socket after the angiogram if the trauma unit thinks he can handle it.
They are working to try and take out the chest tube on his lungs now.
Heart doctor said his heart is close to how it was in 2018. And they took him off of blood pressure medicine cause that seems to be holding good. Said trying to wean him off heart medicine.
Kidney doctor said they will be starting the slow dialyis today.
Heart doctor says he didn't think he was going to make it but that Ernie Wayne must have an angel watching over him.
I have seen all the doctors and they all agree Ernie Wayne is a fighter and he has had a miracle. All your thoughts prayers and caring
vital signs are good no temp and he is resting peacefully.
Thank you each and everyone. You are watching over him. If we get good news on the brain we are home free. And I will expect to see and meet you when you come visit once he goes home (his brothers house).

For all of us who know Ernie personally, him wanting to pull the tube out can be no surprise. Through broken bones and bruised organs and trauma to his brain, I expect one of his greatest challenges is not being able to talk.

Great news.
They just took out the ventilator tube.
And he is talking a little.
I asked him if he was in pain and he said hurts like a B-tch.
They are now giving him some pain medicine.
Ok I am heading out before the weather turns.

All good news!!! Glad to see he still has some fight in him, that will get him a long way on his road to recovery. I'll keep him in my thoughts for a full and speedy recovery.
