Update on Ernie from his mother as of about 11:00 this morning:
"Doctor was in this morning and said that the results from the MRI showed Ernie Wayne had had some mini strokes resulting from blood clots.
One clot was in the artery to the right eye and the rest throughout the brain.
Said the Lyrica blood thinner medicine was not a high enough dosage to stop the clots.
Said he was 97% sure he has lost total sight in right eye.
Said he would get with other doctors and fix medicine amount and if Ernie Wayne was doing okay they will release tomorrow.
Said he will have to have rehab to learn how to function with one eye.
He is having lots of mixed feelings and we both are just wondering when all these bad things will stop.
He needs a break. I don't know how much more he can handle.
I am lost cause I can't help him.
So please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
