engraving

Hi, I have seen laser engraved pens in the past. I was wondering who does this? And approx. how much is it? Should the pen be assembled or disassembled?

All of the engravers I have used preferred the pen to be assembled.

Paul, let me agree with Lance that Ken Nelson at Kallenshaanwoods does a great job. His site has an order sheet on it to simplify things. He wants the pen completely finished, and requests to know what type of finish was used.
