Engraved Mammoth Ivory and Bog Oak

Don't think I <s>can</s> will sell this one. Mammoth ivory segmented onto a Bog Oak blank, engraving by Ken at Kallenshaan (just his ordinary, run of the mill beautiful work on pen and box). I was happy with it before</u> engraving, but Ken did such a beautiful job that I had to take it apart to fix a couple of fit and finish items. Still working on depth of field photo issues.

Can we see the backside of that? It looks like the ivory was inlaid on wood. Is that correct. A fine pen.

you are correct, Frank. the ivory started about 3/16" thick by 3/4" wide. I glued it to an odd size bog oak piece to make a square and worked from there. I will shoot a pic of the back. Lou is also sending me one of those super-fancy 18k nibs[B)]....

Good for you Jon. That is my favorite kit. You should carry and use it. You would be surprised at how many residual sales you will make from using it.
