I'm trying to get the Enduro Finish from my (somewhat) local Woodcraft store, and I notice that there are multiple products. There's :
General Finishes (GF) Polyacrylic
GF High Performance
and GF Enduro pre-Cat Urethane.
There are also multiple sanding sealers, but I already purchased the GF one, not the Enduro one. (The one on the shelf at the time.)
Between the GF finishes, the only difference seems to be some UV protection. The GF/Enduro one, however, seems to be specifically for spraying and has a lower listed drying time. (I don't know if it is chemically different and dries faster, or if the act of spraying it reduces the drying time because it coat thickness.)
My question is -- which one do I want? The GF sanding sealer seems to have a quick drying time on pens. Will the polyacrylic suffice, or will I just be setting myself up for a few hours between coats? What are the advantages/disadvantages?
Thanks!
Bill
