Email woes

I have just started having trouble with my email and don't know what the problem is. I have received emails from myself with a link in it that i haven't sent and it appears that email has been sent to contacts in my address book. Some of them may have been sent to members here and I would like to apologize for the trouble caused. If anyone knows what the problem could be and how to resolve it I would be really grateful.

Ive had two already. Seems to be a link in Taiwan.

I'd suggest anti-virus software or use online services if yours is outdated. Mcafee, Kaspersky, Norton all have online scans for free.

Yeah Terry I seen you had received them. I have Kaspersky and don't know how it got through. I'm going to run a scan now.

Be sure to change your email password.

They get through because they are not a virus or spam. WHat has happened is someone you know that has some of the similar entries has gotten a virus and it has sent emails using one of those names. Just delete the email is about all you can do for now
