Elk Antler Sierra

When I drilled the hole in this antler I didn't have it quite straight in the vice so ended up a little thin on one end. I decided to center the antler on the tube and put a piece of ebony on each end. I'm thinking now that maybe I should have cut the antler in half and put the ebony in the middle. Comments appreciated.

yes, you did a great job and you could have put it in the middle, but either way it looks great.

I think it looks good the way it is. I know that when I've put a horizontal piece in the middle, it's always looked like an afterthought -- even when I intended it to be there from the start [:-(]

The pen looks good, I would like to see one with the antler at the top and bottom to break up the black. It would be interesting
