I turned this pen last night and was quite suprised with what I saw.
Seems like this blank was calling to me. Look closely at the images and you will see CHP. The "P" is perfectly formed.

It must mean "Cam's Handcrafted Pens". I guess I will hang on to this one.

Weird!!!!

You must have been looking for quite a while to hyave seen those letters[:p][;)]
Looks great, how'd you get the green color in the wood?

This is a Stablilized Green Dyed Maple Burl I aquired from http://www.leevalley.com. Actually I was ticked off cause the blank was not very evenly dyed.
The "P" is what caught my eye and my right brain took over.

Come on Frank.....you know the EYE is all knowing [:D]
I can see that even with my blinders on, good one Cam.
I really like the difference in colors between the cap & body.

I can see HOP in your pen but I had no trouble seeing Lola in a pen posted here a while ago.
AS far as the "dye" job.
It is becasue of results like this I stopped buying commercially stabilized dyed blanks.
I can have results like this all by myself and save the money.
I think thats why God invented magic markers.[:D]

Well I can see Jesus. I don't see CHP, but in the second picture, I see what looks to me like I'm being flipped off by two hands next to each other! Hhhhmmm... this is making me want to pull out my Rorschach cards and see what I see!

And Eagle, thanks for remembering Lola- I think you missed getting to meet her sister Blaze, who was debuted in recent months.
