Do you mean it's become hardened on the buff? If so the way to "dress" buffs is with a "buff rake." The cheapest buff rake is a hacksaw blade, get your buff spinning, WEAR GLOVES, and use the blade to rake your buff. Gloves are necessary with the real buff rake or the hacksaw blade, don't ask [:o)] (Re photo: HE'S not wearing gloves, bad boy, you get the idea how to do this tho)

How's this for a fast response from down under?

G'day Larry - Use Mineral Turpentine, if you're in the USA it's probably
known as White Spirits or Mineral Spirits. You really need to heat the EEE
in a little hot water, or with short bursts on low in the microwave.
Careful not to melt the plastic container.

When soft enough to stir easily stir in some of the turps and keep
stirring till the mix begins to thicken, or the tripoli (abrasive) will
drop out of the mix.

Hope this helps.

Cheers - Neil Ellis
