Ebonite Fountain Pens

Hello,

this is my first post to show my pens... I hope learn from all of you so I am quite new. Only 8 months from the first time I had a pen blank in my hands.

I don't have names for my pens, so I will numbered them.. Number 1. Made from dark blue ebonite by SEM (German).

Gorgeous. I've worked a little with ebonite, you had no problem threading it? I'd have thought it'd be a little soft. Or is the German ebonite harder?
