east tennesee turners

Ok, I posted in the local chapters forum a while back and so far nada, so I'll post here.

Is any interest in starting a chapter in the east Tennessee area? Particularly around the Knoxville area? I have seen that there are several on the forum from around the area. I would like to be involved and meet and learn more about pen turning. As I am kinda a new guy to this.

There is a woodturner's group that meets at the local Woodcraft on Kingston Pike... you might contact WC and see if they can put you in touch with the group.... I've dropped out of that group because I'm over an hour's drive away and I don't like to drive at night much anymore.
