My wife is the lunch coordinator for our kids' school PTA. They arrange buying lunches for kids 3-4 days/week as a fundraiser. She's currently going nuts trying to keep the orders straight (who ordered what, which day, which building). The PTA uses Payschool for the lunch orders, and apparently, Payschool (a Paypal partner for nonprofits) doesn't seem to have a good database capability, or else, she can't figure it out.
What she'd like is a way for orders to get organized into either an Excel spreadsheet or a CSV file, which would allow her to get in a batch:
(a) list of kids who ordered lunch on Monday (Tues, Wed, etc.) & what they ordered
(b) sorting to get number of cheese pizza slices to building 1, building 2, etc. on Monday
(c) pepperoni pizza slices to building 1, 2, etc.
This would seem to me to be pretty easy to do, but I'm not a programmer. (I can jargon the TLA's with the worst of them, but I don't program!)
Can anyone pipe in with some helpful suggestions, please?
Thanks!
