Hi All,
I'm looking into getting a dust filter for the shop. I found a local buy and I have to take a look at it in a few hours. It's a JDS 2000 single speed dust filter about 7 years old. I'm told it's been in storage for the last three years and in great condition. I've searched the internet and I can't find any info regarding a ceiling mounted JDS 2000 that is a single speed. Did JDS make a single speed?

This is the only pic I have of the actual unit:

Does anyone here know anything about a single speed JDS 2000? I'm not sure what I should be looking for as far as filters installed in the unit. What the approximate value of the unit could be. He said it runs whisper quiet. Belongs to his father in law who recently passed away. He's selling it on behalf of his mother in law. Any info you could provide would really help me be more prepared when I go check it out.

Thanks,
Dave

JDS makes a GREAT product so I would snatch it up!. I have the 750 and am real happy with it. Mine is 3 speed with remote but it looks almost identical to the one in your photo. As far as filters, I've had mine for 4 years and I blow them out about once a month(REAL easy) and they still look brand new. I think they have a ten year warranty on the main filter and it should last AT LEAST that long. They also have a LIFETIME warranty on the machine itself. Bring it home and clean it with an air hose and you should be good to go!

I've been real happy with my JDS unit (also about 7 yrs old). I get replacement filters from Highland Woodworking, but I'm sure there are other vendors out there as well. The "2000" series has several models, so it's hard to pin down a price without a more specific model number.

OK,
The unit was the JDS series 2000 - model 350A, which I can't find any info for it anywhere. I can assume the 350 means 350 cfm air flow? Great condition. Runs quiet and the filters appear to be in good condition. I picked it up for $75. I really couldn't find much info on the unit so it was hard price it, but for $75 it seemed like a good deal.
