I finally bought a dust collection system for my garage workshop. It is a Delta 50-760 1 1/2 hp machine. Do I just have my head up my butt or is the top bag a pain to put on??? I got a little frustrated adn left the garage for the night. Can anyone shed some light on how to properly get my head out and get this bag on here???

Don, I'm not sure, but I don't think the bag is supposed to go up your butt either. [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][;)]

Don,
If you can see it from your current position, and if I remember the DC layout properly, there should be an inverted "L" shaped bar that the bag hangs from and a loop on the bottom of the bag.. then there is a metal belt that runs through the open end through loops that then just clamps around the exchanger (not sure if this is correct word.)

This is my DC, it's actually a HF model, but the bags hang in the same manner.

Chuck,

If you mill green wood, the lower bag will basically disintegrate fast due to the moisture...especially at the bottom. It will also rust your base. DAMHIKT.

My solution was to replace/line it with industrial/contractor grade trash bags from WalMart. It also made clean up really easy. Just take it off and dispose, no more cleaning of the lower bag which is a big pain. Rememeber it is filled with fine dust.

I also upgraded the upper bag since mine is not on a separate area like yours.
