Durability of Black Chrome Finish?

Can anyone provide some information on the durability (good/bad/ugly) of Craft Suppliers' black chrome finish? Is the durability of the black chrome equal to that of the normal chrome finish?

Is it equal to normal chrome? In a word, NO! "Black Chrome" as used on pen kits is not black chrome at all, but rather, black powdercoating. If you wipe a scrap piece of it with acetone or CA debonder, you'll prove it to yourself--DAMHIKT. True black chrome is a plating, and will not be harmed by either of these chemicals.
