My shop is upside down because I need to finish my shed that my CO2 Laser is going in. Just can't get the mudding down. I have a desk and other things that need to go into the Laser Cave, so I can't work on the shop. Also, I can't work on the shop till I finish the, Ok I'll say it, the Man Cave. Wife wants this Laser out of the office. Well, I just need to get out there and start mudding. Have all the seams done, need to do all the inside corners. Then do the second coat on everything, sanding, finish coat, ect. I just need someone to come over and do it for me. But, no money for that, either. Sooooooo, I'm the next best thing.

Mudding can be fun at times. Depends on your mood. One thing I learned, was you can wipe the seams with a wet sponge to cut way down on sanding. I'd love to help, but I swore off mudding after the shed was built. I hope you get it worked out, and enjoy lasering in privacy.
 
I have no problem mudding. Learned on the jobsite many years ago watching a taper. He showed me the tricks and picked it up rather easily. The big thing he always said though was put it on take it off and walk away. Do not play with it and try to make perfect. Impossible to do. Learn to use the right size knife and also learn to tilt it just right. It really is not hard but the experts can do it so fast and make look easy. Alot like laying bricks. That is another skill that can be challenging.
