Hi,
A new one Ive been trying to get a picture of few a week or so! As the colour is pretty hard to photograph, and even now doesn't show up all that well!
Anyway, the pen is Douglas Fir Burl from Wolfdancer. Im guessing that its mineral stained, as other Douglas Fir Ive seen doesn't have the green/blue colouring. Ive only ever seen the colour in Yew or Ash that has sucked up some sort of mineral? Really like the colours once the finish was polished up and now is probably going to be a keeper!
Haven't seen anyone else turn there Douglas Fir from Wolfdancer, so here you are!! Mounted on a Platinum/Black-Ti Sierra.
