Double Rainbow Over The Valley This Evening

We got a wild thunder and lightning storm this evening with a half hour of rain followed by partial clearing and a nice double rainbow over the valley.

I took the pictures from my porch . This where it started down in right side at the valley floor level.

I was a little late getting out with my camera so it had started to fade by time I got this picture of the same one moving from right to left over the mountain.

and then right over the other side to the left

Yes winter is also beutiful up here in the rockies . We can see mountains in USA as well as right around us and the scenery is forever changing. Some more pictures of outdoors here can be seen by clicking on the link below to my PictureTrail albums site.

We have lots of deer and elk that can get quite tame in the winter as well as lots of species of birds.

We also have black bears and skunks and cougars and way too many coyotes but we sure don't try to tame those guys at all. :biggrin:
Putting up with the critters is just a part of having a beautiful view. :wink:
