Double Closed Ended Amboyna Burl Fountain Pen

Made it this A.M. It's a Double Closed Ended Fountain Pen in Amboyna Burl Wood. Hardware is from a Black Titanium Navigator Fountain Pen. This is a stepping stone for my next learning experience of a hidden clip. Not as thrilled with the shape and contour of the cap end as compared with the barrel. Anyway, it's my first double closed ended and.. got to start somewhere.

It is a remarkable pen. I kind of like the cap end being slightly larger than the other end, and of course with amboyna burl (especially with your finish), the more of it you have showing, the better IMHO.

I wonder if I'd miss the clip, but I have several pens that get used on my desk only, and never go into a shirt pocket.
