You come up with a good design idea, figure out a neet way to do it, turn a proto type and when you do a run the idea fails.
I made a Freedom pen with 13 stripes. To get the balance right I had to make the nip end a little longer so I cut the tube and glued it in from both ends of the blank. Well the corian is not strong enough to do that with. Out of 5 I got 2 good ones. BTW Bill B. has some 10" tubes I had to ask for them though (not on the web site. Picture quality is lacking but you get the idea.

Don't feel too bad. This sounds like my daily story. If it can go bad, it will.

If you only need a small amount extra you might be able to use a European designer tube. The extra tubes are cheaper than buying a set of the 10".
