About two years ago I bought a bottle of shellawax from PSI. I never really used it much. The other day I went to use it on a piece of Birdseye maple. When I applied the wax it didn't seem to be as I remembered. It seem to be more satin, I believe I remember it being more glossy.

Could this be bad? it is still liquid. Could I have just applied it wrong or something?

Thanks

I'm not sure what the shelf life is, but I've used my bottle of Shellawax for over a year. Just shake it well before applying. Could be my imagination, but I seem to get different results with different woods. I've run into some blanks that I just can't get a nice shiny finish on.
