Medical caduceus clips are available from several sources, including PSI ....


And I'm sure there are some Lazerlines and other specialty themed blanks that depict a medical caduceus...

I'ld say keep it fairly simple .... something elegant and simple with the caduceus clip would be appreciated by anybody aspiring to become a Doctor or anyone who has had that level of success in their career already.

Keep in mind the Nurses have their own symbols.

Kallenshaan Woods has an inlay pen with a caduceus. It is a nice looking pen for a Sierra kit. And it isn't too hard to put together.

I checked the Lazerlinez site and did not find a medical related blank, I also searched for caduceus with no luck?

I may get bashed for this one, but it they are going to be using it on the job...

I have a cousin and a brother-in-law, both doctors. They prefer a click pen as it is a one-handed operation they can use while at work holding a clipboard in the other hand. A pharmacist cousin and in-law prefer a click pen for the same reason, as does one of my nurse friends.

Your mileage may vary, but this has been my experience.

Here is one I was commissioned to make for our CEO as a gift. I had the caduceus engraved on the finial. Jr Gent II pen with CA finish.

Yeah, that sounds about right ....


So ... a simple clicker with the caduceus clip would be my go-to choice for the doc.

Now ... if the guy does a lot of work round the MRI .... you might wanna go kitless and drop every single part that can be affected by magnetism. I'm sure any doctor would appreciate not having to fight for their pen every time they walk past the MRI room, much less have to slam the emergency stop button because it flew off and into the MRI machine. I've heard bad stories about watches, glasses, bracelets, ect ...
