And he was right. Went to the elbow specialist today. Apparently I have tennis elbow really really bad. I got a steroid shot right into the joint. Numbing medicine wore off and now I am redefining elbow pain. Hope I can turn a pen tomorrow. I got seven to make over the next couple weeks. I was hoping for a magic bullet to get rid of the pain.

Never got the shot in the arm, had three in the spine though...the last one ruptured the disc and that my friend is pain! Few weeks later was sliced open and have felt great since....knock on wood!

Scott (hope you feel better) B

I thought my shoulder was worst after my shot but it did wonders after pain went away. I had a frozen shoulder for about 10 month before that pain was too much for me and I went to see the doctor. I still can't move it without alittle pain but now at least I can reach above my head and sleep...

I have had the shots for tennis elbow in both elbows 4-5 times. It would work for a couple days to several months at a time. I had tennis elbow in both elbows once and had my right arm cast for 6 weeks. The theory being that since I am right handed, I would not do anything to abuse the other arm and it would heal. After 6 weeks, I had started breaking 4 colts and healed my elbows for about ten years. Now it is not as hard to take it easy as it was 30 years ago. The shots worked most of the time - sometimes longer than others.

Good luck with finding some relief.

Pain is getting better but dang, this is silly.

On a positive note I got a blank drilled tonight. Last night I was in too much pain to use the drill press. Tomorrow evening is for turning.
