Please excuse me if this is a dumb question..But when I buy a new pen kit, there is either a cap over the end,or a hard blob of somethng on the tip that has to be scraped off.
It got me to wondering if during long-time storage are we supposed to take out the refills of the pens, and cap them before use/or sale? I probably only have saved about half of the rubber plugs on the ballpoints, and the plastic caps on the rollerball refills.
It might take me years to sell/gift the pens I've made, and most have the upgraded refills that are expensive.I'd hate to have to rebuy them all over again...
Thanks for any thoughts!
Steve
