I'm having fun making slim-line style mechanical pencils from Brass and Aluminum using the 'Zebra' pencil as the basis, using them for gifts. I've made about 5 so far and feel it's now time to make a custom 'lead-end' part to replace the black plastic Zebra (.5) end. I can't find the thread dimensions for the Zebra or any other pencil, anyplace on the internet.
Does anyone have a source for these small threads dimensions? I've measured my Zebra at M5x0.5 but it's so small that I'm not sure and don't want to spend the money for a tap set on my guess
Any help would be appreciated.
