Just out of curiosity, what do these look like when they're wet? I've seen the sapwood of ironwood look anywhere from pale white to almost gold when they're finished or if the blanks get a spritz of water.

Here is a group of what's for sale wetted with H2O. Nice golden tone as you mentioned
