I think you'd be dealing with stone since they are all fossilized to the best of my memory. Not like working with actual bone.
You can find some bones preserved in bogs and other sediments that are old, but not dinosaur old. Think Mammoth, Wooly Rhino, Irish Elk, etc. All extinct, but not 65million years old either. Only about 10-20k.

I have a piece of dinosaur bone I found a number of years ago. It is fossilized and basically rock, very hard rock.
