Differentiating Yourself In The World Of Pen Making - AAW Demo - July 17 - Must See

I am happy and honored to have been asked to be a demonstrator at the American Association of Woodturners (AAW) Virtual Symposium. I will be doing a rotation entitled "Differentiating Yourself In The World Of Penmaking". The event will be July 17 and 18, 2021 (Pen making is scheduled for July 17 (1:25 pm CST)). I personally cannot wait to see some of the demonstrations - these are great demonstrators and topics for all woodturners.

Differentiating Acrylic Pens (Coloring / Segmenting / 3D Printing)

Just one thing about your post above .....

.... in the line: "Casting (Label Casting or Steampunk Penny form the April Issue of the AAW Magazine)" ...

.... is there a typo ? .... I don't quite get the part ... "Steampunk Penny form the April Issue" ... in particular, the word " form " .

And " Penny " .... is that the name of a person ?

It's a typo Mal. Should read "from". Mark was featured on the cover of The AAW's last issue of their American Woodturner Magazine on how to use a crushed penny from Disney in a steampunk pen casting. I had never seen it done anywhere prior to him (which is rare in this field). very worthy of their cover!

OK, thanks John ! . I thought that. . But I was also confused by the " Penny ", and now you have clarified that also. . Maybe I should get AAW magazine and then I would understand that part as well !!
