The site is a very interesting idea for new business people. Basically pitch your plan and if enough people buy in you'll be able to proceed.

They've done a lot a work by the looks of the videos that are on that site. Too bad the pen doesn't impress me at all.

I'm confused. Are you buying part of their future business?

No you are pre ordering a pen at a Discount price because they will be higher after they raise the seed money.

I can't see how $200 for one pen is a discount. At least, not the ones they were showing.
I think it only $100 for the discounted pen. It's $200 is you want to pick the wood. Still not much of a discount. But since they are trying to raise money, I didn't think it would be a good deal.

I do like the looks of the pen. Reminds me of a polaris, only a little cleaner IMHO.

Looks like two college kids experimenting with a concept.

Ad looks honest, let the chips fall where they may.

It is a business plan that I have not seen before, so they get extra points for creativity!!

I agree that $200 isn't what I would call a discount, but man you should see what some people try to get for slimlines.

I'd say two kids that have enough big a marbles to pull off a scam like that, then you will also have enough suckers out there that will fall for their story. Only in America this kind of stories would have buyers.

Explore the site. There are some really cool and some really stupid things but all of them are looking for the same thing. Funding. These guys are not doing any different. my question is whether they are using a kit or not? If they are are they any different than folks here who sell a self turned barrel on a kit for a hundred dollars? If not a kit, are they any different than anyone here who makes them from scratch? If they reach their goal they get the cash. If they get one dollar under their goal they don't get the cash.

I think that their promo video was really well done. In the end, the market will decide if their pens are priced correctly. No matter what the product is, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If they can sell their pens for what they are currently asking, more power to them.

I will give them and A for creative writing. Gotta give them credit for trying to build a business. Looking for venture capital wish them good louck. Now to go find my old creative writing textbooks, oh that's right they were stone tablets.
