Well, made these over the 4th weekend and only just now got some photos of them.
I use the term "photo" very loosely. These are some of the coolest pens I've ever made and yet the pics are the most horrid I've ever made. For the live of me I could not get a good photo today (and thus the rant in the photo forum). I have about 6 more pens that I just flat gave up on and don't have in the photo.
Well, anyhow, here's the best I could come up with.
All pens finished in satin conversion varnish.
Chrome cigar with Desert Ironwood:
Bubinga (w/crazy figure)
dyed maple burl from Arizona Silhouette
Bias-cut tigerwood. Gotta turn this one carefully!!
And my personal favorite: Sedona FP with Blythe Desert Ironwood from Arizona Silhouette.
