Dewalt Pilot Drill Bits

I've been reading on how you have to be carefull when drilling ebony. Make sure not to generate to much heat. Well last night was my first time working with indian ebony (did a wine bottle stoper/cork screw from PSI, once your done turning there is alot of wood left so I figured there would be no craking problems) So I drilled it with a pilot drill bit and it drilled like butter. Man dose drill are amazing!

I just purchased the DW1969 29 piece set increment of 1/64 from 1/16" through 1/2".

Haven't used it a lot yet but the few I used it on did came out nice.

I switched to them a while back for drilling blanks also.
They do a very nice job.

If you use the 9/32 drill for 7mm tubes, does it work well or is the
hole to large?

It's just right when you use epoxy to glue in the tubes. Might be too large for CA, I don't know. I always use epoxy.

I use the 9/32 and sometime thick CA when I'm in a rush. And it works just fine.
