Desiccant dryers

What type of dryers are used by most to dry the air from their compressors? And the vendors of these if possible? I can't carry on spending like I have in my adventures into casting so the less expensive options are upper most in my mind.

If you have a relatively small setup, This will be perfect. Screw it right onto the end of your airhose. It's also good if you play around with an airbrush.

I use the same type of dryer. One thing to note is that the silicon beads will eventually "fill" with water. You can tell when they turn color (from blue to red/pink, I believe). No need to hunt up new ones, though. Just disassemble, pour the beads in a glass or stainless bowl. Put in an oven (I preheat to about 250F). In about 15-20 minutes, they're blue again. Reassemble and you're good to go.
