This pen was turned today it is a Baron made of Desert Ironwood with a plexglass finish.

Alright, I'll be the goof who asks (after searching and finding nada)...whats a plexiglass finish? Very nice by the way!

Scott your not a goof it is a finish that I started using about 2 months ago. I posted the topic here and did not get much response. It is the plexiglass melted in acetone. I thin it down and use it as a finish. It goes on easier than the CA and gives a very nice shine. Here is a link to the previous discussion.

Wow, I saw the first one as well, but the finish on this one really looks amazing. I may have to try that out and see if I can figure it out.
