All of your kind comments much appreciated. This is a kit from PSI so only the top (pen cap) needs turning. Quality is reasonable though the nib is pretty average. Better nib sections are available especially from Beaufort Pens here in the UK who have a vast range of German Bock nibs one of which is sure to fit this kit. Inevitably because it's a demonstrator,the barrel is light in weight and the top heavier. A weighted end cap would have made all the difference to overall balance. Parker especially made demonstrators and mostly for the 51's I collect which is what attracted me to this kit. Hope this helps.
