Deer antler for tru-stone, snake skin, money or other blanks

Hey all,
I just picked up a bunch of antlers from a friend. Since I just make pens for a hobby, I've got way more that I can use.

Anyone interested in trading for some deer antler? I've got enough wood blanks and I can cast my own acrylic blanks so I'm hoping to trade for something I haven't turned before. Something like tru-stone, snake skin, alligator, cactus, etc.



It seems like one antler half is going for $10-15. I don't really expect to get $120 for these antlers but was hoping for blanks worth $50-70 in return. Does this seem fair? Let me know if I'm in the right ballpark!

PS This is my first IAP trade so let me know if I'm doing it right. Also the antler is whole but I can cut it close to blank size if needed.

that is a little pricy for them antlers,even though the store sells them high,some people try and make a killing on ebay but look at them most do not sell for pens

I did a fair amount of checking before posting this. I found that antler pen blanks were selling for $3-5 each and whole antlers were $10-15. That's how I came up with these figures so I don't think I'm too out of line.

I'm certainly willing to split up this lot if someone wants a few blanks or just one antler....
