Just posted this in your other thread, too - that's an excellent first effort! I like the creativity of the design. My first few were bushing-to-bushing; it took me even longer to get this experimental. Did she do the finish too?

thanks jim. yes she did the finish. it is 5 min epoxy to fill in some bark holes and give some shine. by the way I guess I should mention the wood is cherry burl if I remember right, I have had it for quite some time now.

more than I can say!! she just read a couple of the last posts and had the biggest smile you can imagine[:D]I have a feeling you will be seeing more of her work in the future

My son just turned 16 and seems like nothing in his mind but cars right now. I also have a 13 year old daughter, don't know what I can do to make them turn.

Any tips?

Grasp one shoulder in each of your hands, then slowly bring your hands toward each other, so that the thumb of your left hand would pass by the pinky of your right hand (if the child wasn't in the way).
