I have been hunting for a while to find a center drill to help start the larger drill bits when drilling on the lathe, and they have been elusive. Yeah, I know I can get them through HF and Grizzly but I haven't wanted to pay $8 shipping on an item under a dollar. Well, I went to the HF store in York, PA when visiting my wife's grandmother and I dragged my 3-month pregnant wife through the store for 1.5 hours looking for the derned thing
, and when i described what I was looking for to the employees they looked at me like I had lobsters crawling out of my ears! I left frustrated to say the least.
Well here's where the reallllly frustrating part comes in....I wanted to get a hammer drill/chisel for a bathroom project and tuck pointing my brick stoop and I found one on clearance at Grizzly and ordered the thing like it was hot....but I freakin' forgot to order a center drill!!!! $0.79 it would have cost me, with no additional shipping...but nOOOOOOOOO, now I'm right back where I started! I could kick myself sometimes.
