Nice looking pen. You said that the pen is for you, cuz of a crack and a knot. Just tell THE CUSTOMER that those little imperfections give the pen a truly unique look, and it was done intentionally. [] [8D]

I like stuff with cracks and knots. Too me that's what makes the pen wood. Even if you fill em in with CA, that is fine, I just like the definition too the wood with the holes.

Yes, mainly cheques to paid business bills [], the only worries was the crack, scared to get a catch, then you got a blow out blank, done that before.

Very nice, I like the natural look also. Is cypress very soft? How does it turn? From appearances, I would have guessed osage orange on the finished product.
