Greetings from Nebraska to all IAP members and Baseball fans. The College World Series starts this coming Friday in Omaha, Nebraska.

I try to make it to all of the games and would love to meet the fellow IAP members that are going to some of the games.

Regards,
Dave

PS You can recognize me, I'll be the guy wearing a baseball cap. :D

Omaha is a fun town. The Zoo is surprisingly good for a small city, and of course the CWS. As a guitarist, Lidgett Music just across the river, was always one of my favorite stopping places when in town for business.

As a long time Royals fan, their AAA team is in Omaha, also. I keep track peripherally with their progress.

Enjoy the games!

"The Guy Wearing a Baseball Cap"!!!
You sure do get around. Seems like everywhere I go I see you. Enjoy the games. I wish I was able to go. Take Care.

First off I didn't go to college so my hats off to anyone who went to any university for any amount of time. That being said my son and money went to Texas A&M. When he started school I was told to root for A&M or whoever is playing Texas. The more things seem to get messed up in professional sports the more I enjoy watching college. They are a bunch of young adults doing what they enjoy with hopes of doing it for a living.

I was rooting for A&M at the CWS in 2022 (and Texas Tech in 2019).

One of my son in laws went to A&M.

The school connection is strong for anyone who goes there.

Life stops for the wife and I when the women's softball starts and ends with a C'ship; same with the men's world series pathway. August is the time for 10 days of ignoring life and watch the Little League WS. Why do we follow baseball and softball? Grandson plays pro ball, AAA.
Joke: A fellow is sitting next to a Colgate grad. "I never went to your school but I've always used your toothpaste."

The LOL has had tickets for 47 years, so I get to tag along! Have made some life long friends.
She is a Texas fan and has been forever and I get to live with her in the Dallas palace.
We park in lot D row 5 or 6. 10th street side orange ( Texas) and all that goes with it.

I went to the CWS back in 2012 and went to two games. The first game I was rooting for Stony Brook, but they were eliminated by Florida State. I then decided to root for UCLA. I got to watch them get eliminated by ....Florida State. I then decided I might as well root for Florida State......They got eliminated by the eventual CWS champion University of Arizona. Even though none of my teams won, it was the experience of a life time.

We put our name on the sign up list for season tickets back in 1996 when our first son was born, figured he might like to go when he got older. We didn't get to the top of the list until 2016 so it took 20 years to get my tickets. - Dave
