Here' another way to cut blanks for those of you who prefer the tablesaw: I use an 'Incra sled' with a 'Veritas router fence', somewhat costly but very accurate and safe. The pic says it all but if anyone needs further assistance let me know
Sorry that pic is of my current set-up which is for cutting 'burr' pieces to length. If you look at the bottom of the pic you can see my adjustable stop that would be used to cut pen blanks. Carl, let me know if you need a better pic showing a pen blank
