This is ome curly maple I recieved from a bowl turner friend of mine.It started out as a piece of trunk about a foot and a half thick by maybe 16in. diameter. Just said it was tiger maple.But when I cut it open what a surprize.It was highly spalted. Some bonus.I figure I have enough for 100 pen blanks.
