Curly maple with a unbubbled black spider

I finally figured out the no bubble part. I did get a little bleed from the epoxy in the legs but it just makes them look hairy Being that maple is easier to saw than ebony the spider shape turned out better too. Even the fangs Critiques welcome, how else will I learn?

Hey, Jim! What did you finish with? I was thinking(always a dangerous proposition.) Could you lace a bit of CA as a sealant in the spider cutout before filling with the black epoxy to stop the bleedout?[]

I hate spiders! Hairy spiders are even worse![}][]

First thing I thought of after seeing the "hair"[)] The finish is 4 sprayed on coats of Deft lacquer from a spray can followed by 0000 steel wool and McGuires car cleaner polish.

Ron, the bottom is all segmented. Just the spider itself is epoxy, his dangle thread is black veneer.
