Here is a Curly Maple Eurostyle Pen I made with gold fittings.. I just had to see how the gold looks, despite what SWMBO said about using black.. LOL.. I think it looks nice... But what do I know, I am only the one doing the work.. SHE is the expert.. LOL

Gold is a classic that people are conditioned to. You can't go wrong with that! Add to it a great design and nicely finished wood and you have a definite winner here!!
