Curious about casting material possibilities.

HI guys, I don't cast anything myself, but I was wondering if anyone has tried casting fish scales, or animal furs (like a deer's fur and such)?

Turtles, salamanders and lizards, heck maybe alligators - I have no idea if any of these would work.

I'm especially interested in seeing how animal fur would work.

Feathers? porcupine/hedgehog quills? Human hair? I think someone already asked about having a picture on the inside. Flower petals?

What about clothing? what kind of fine silks can be used?

Actually, I suppose the flowers would have to be dried somehow, so the image I was thinking of would not be the same eh?
